Dr. JD Jones, PT, DPT, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Sport Performance Trainer who earned both his Bachelor of Science in Physiology, as well as his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Washington. JD has a passion for working with baseball players, combat sports athletes, and outdoors enthusiasts ranging from hikers to archery hunters.

He serves as a medical advisor for the Shoreline Community College baseball team, as well as Seattle Select baseball club, where he provides medical guidance and specialty recommendations for athletes of all ages. In addition to physical therapy, he still operates as a strength and conditioning coach with heavy emphasis on athletic performance and injury mitigation. JD has worked with people from all walks of life, ranging from older adults to professional athletes. During his time at Driveline Baseball, he became very familiar with integrating data from the VALD Force Decks into his rehab and training programs, and has continued to specilaize in implementing VALD tech and detailed analysis into his practice. After spending many years on the baseball diamond and in the mat room, JD went on to become a NCWA all-state Wrestler for the University of Washington, and actively competes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu currently. If you can’t find him on the mats, he’s likely out in the mountains hiking and backpacking with his partner, friends, and dog Karma.
