Dr. Jereme Schumacher, PT, DPT is a physical therapist in San Diego, CA and Co-Founder of Bespoke Physical Therapy’s San Diego Region, part of a nationally recognized physical therapy and longevity company redefining modern physical therapy care through a proactive approach that integrates rehabilitation, strength training, recovery, movement optimization, and longevity-focused treatment to help people move better and live better, longer. Dr. Schumacher brings a wealth of knowledge from multiple disciplines of physical therapy. After graduating with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from San Diego State University in 2017, Dr. Schumacher pursued multiple certifications in Functional Range Conditioning (FRCms), CrossFit Level-1 (CF-L1), and FMT Blades Advanced, and attained certificates from the Applied Functional Science (AFS) Chain Reaction seminar.
Coupled with extensive clinical mentorship in manual therapeutics, outpatient orthopedics, and biomechanical evaluations, Dr. Schumacher has developed a diverse skill set used to progress individuals throughout their fitness journey. As a former collegiate football player and current powerlifter, CrossFit athlete, Hyrox competitor, and jiu jitsu practitioner, Dr. Schumacher understands the physical and mental demands required to maintain a fit and healthy lifestyle. This has allowed him to successfully treat athletes from the middle school level all the way up to the professional and Olympic levels.
Dr. Schumacher also teaches in San Diego State University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program and serves as an international classifier for the International Federation of CP Football (IFCPF), representing the USA. He has provided medical and recovery support for the MADE Hoops Circuit, San Diego Chargers off-season training, and San Diego Albion, a men’s professional soccer team, during their in-season care.
