Meet Dr. Mike Fairchild, PT, DPT

Dr. Mike Fairchild, PT, DPT played baseball at Azusa Pacific University where he was an All-American starting pitcher and an Academic All-American. After graduating from APU with his bachelor's degree in Applied Exercise Science, he played in the minor leagues for the Seattle Mariners. During his stint in pro ball, he played Rookie Ball and in the Dominican Republic for Instructional League, before rupturing his Achilles tendon in the following spring training. After undergoing a full year of rehab at the Mariners rehab facility in Peoria, Arizona, he was released in 2019 following his second spring training. Because of his own experience dealing with injury and his passion for helping people perform at their greatest capacity, he decided to pursue a career in physical therapy and graduated from the University of Washington in June of 2024 with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. With his background as a professional baseball pitcher and training as a physical therapist, Mike desires to pour back into a community that helped foster his love for baseball growing up and help baseball players play to their greatest potential for as long as possible.
